Evaluating the implementation and uptake of prevention programs to support healthy ageing amongst Aboriginal people
Purpose:
Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHSs) run holistic and culturally safe preventive healthy ageing programs for their communities. This collaborative project will examine the reach and uptake of prevention programs at three ACCHSs in NSW. It will identify opportunities to optimise reach, with each community selecting an optimisation strategy which will be tested to assess impact on uptake in the community. Findings will be shared to support decision making, policy and practice.
