Purpose:
The White Tank Hotel is over 100 years old with much of the original brick, tin roof, and fixtures intact. While significant improvements have been made to install energy–efficient heating and cooling systems in the last 4 years, much of the root cause for heat gains and loss is because the roof is not properly insulated. Key activities of this project include installing insulation batts in the roof; key benefits to the organization include reduced energy needs to heat and cool the premises and accommodation.
