Purpose:
To deliver a high-performance program to develop rugby union in Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and PNG. The activity is supporting two Pacific rugby union teams to play in elite-level Australian rugby union competitions, Super Rugby and Super W, for 18 rounds a year (Fijiana and Fiji Drua). It is supporting an Olympic 7s Preparation Tournament for Fiji and the Fiji national women’s XV’s team’s (Fijiana) preparation needs for the 2022 Women’s Rugby World Cup. It will enable emerging Pacific players to access Rugby Australia's training facilities in Australia and invest in the professional development needs of Pacific coaches and match officials.
