Purpose:
The Rochester Historical & Pioneer Society is located in the Shire of Campaspe, Northern Victoria. Formed in 1967 the society has 19 Members and 41 Friends of museum and maintains a museum complex in the town of Rochester with a population of 3000. The project aims to reduce the power bills of the group by purchasing a 5.55kw solar system incorporating 15 solar panels to be mounted on existing building roof. Estimated savings to groups power bill of 81% an annual estimated saving of $573 annually. The system will be installed by accredited installers Solar Pro Bendigo.
