Purpose:
Coolon Pty Ltd designs and manufactures high performance LED lighting systems for industrial and architectural applications. After three years of R&D, Coolon has developed a driver (one of the two key components of LED lighting systems) that significantly out–performs any other driver currently available. Coolon intends to use this driver in its own LED lights, as well as manufacture and export the driver to other LED lighting and power supply OEMs globally. Grant funding would offset the high automation equipment costs and enable manufacturing to be kept in Victoria, with local supervision to ensure high quality and continuous improvement on pilot runs and initial batches (to be supplied locally and overseas).
