Purpose:
This project will tap into the huge potential for Forbes historic and iconic Commercial Precinct through the implementation of the Commercial Precincts Master Plan to create a friendly, attractive meeting point for locals and an arrival point for visitors to the Region. It will create a community space that hums with activity and celebrates Australian heritage and culture, where people can enjoy an excellent meal in an alfresco environment, engage in community events and delight in a bespoke shopping experience. Loved by locals and visitors alike, the proposed upgrades to the Forbes Commercial Precinct will underpin economic activity while creating quality sustainable jobs for the community.
