Purpose:
Hadley's Orient Hotel provides accommodation, food/beverage and events services at 34 Murray Street, Hobart, which has been the site of a hospitality enterprise for over 185 years.
The John Webb Room within Hadley's Orient Hotel is one of our large and high–use event and function rooms and currently has two existing air conditioners which are underperforming and rarely fully operational. The current system is over 20 years old and is very inefficient. Our consultants have indicated that the poor performance rating will not be improved by repairing the current system and therefore the plan is to upgrade the system which is serving a larger space than originally specified.
