An Australian Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy informed Racism Reduction Model
Purpose:
Racism affects physical and mental health. Health systems reflect and perpetuate racial discrimination and inequities of the societies in which they operate. A new approach using evidence-based psychological principles will be implemented with hospital staff and medical students with the aim of evaluating the Program’s acceptability and feasibility within real world settings. Over 2 years, continual evaluation and refinement will prepare the Program for broader delivery.
