Self-Contained Accommodation Upgrade - Riverside Resort Urunga
Purpose:
The Riverside Resort at Urunga, NSW boasts award-winning self-contained accommodation. This project is the sixth component to the Resort s revitalisation and upgrade plan, which has been completed over 19 years. The upgrade will see the final eight accommodation units added on the site, as well as, additional parking and essential office and storage facilities. We will engage local building contractors and suppliers to complete. We anticipate an additional 2,922 in visitor nights to be generated and $1.7m in overnight expenditure to the local economy in the first year of operation. The project will also increase Resort employment from 5.625 to 8.125 FTE, including creating indigenous employment opportunities.
