Purpose:
The upgrade to the green and surrounds at the Lorne Bowls Club will enable the Club to provide a safer environment in which to bowl and it will give the Club the necessary infrastructure to compete at a more advanced level and to attract bowlers to Lorne to compete at Invitation Tournaments. The Club also provides recreational bowling to the tourists at Lorne and is an important part of its community social cohesion.
