Esperance Tanker Jetty Replacement
Purpose:
The Esperance Tanker Jetty Replacement project will provide a new and usable jetty on the Esperance Foreshore. The existing 80 year old Jetty has suffered collapses and was permanently closed in November 2015 due to safety concerns. The existing structure will be demolished and replaced with a new jetty, inclusive of fishing sections, dive platform and a wide jetty head for events. The project, in combination with the Esperance Waterfront project, will see the transformation and revitalisation of the Town's foreshore into a world class development which will provide amenity services to the population of the region, grow the economy through the attraction of tourists and provide a trigger for private sector investment.
