Purpose:
The Queensland Academy of Science, Mathematics and Technology is Education Queensland's flagship selective entry STEM focused academy.
Robotics is a key component of the school's extracurricular extension program for students. In 2021, the school supported 44 students in the junior years to engage with the RoboCup State Championships. This project would continue to support new and returning students in their development in the RoboCup format and support students to move into the intermediate competitions.
RoboCup is a competition format that provides a series of challenges for autonomous robots. In the preceding months to the competition students use their engineering, design, coding, mathematics and team work skills.
