Purpose:
The project will start up a Jun Kombucha brewing facility in Geelong for the manufacturing of an alcoholic and non-alcoholic honey and green tea fermented probiotic beverage, to supply retail and wholesale outlets in Australia and for export. Benefits to the region include supporting local farmers and producers and value adding to their products; training and re-training the hospitality industry in fermentation and fermented products; having available on the market both locally and internationally, a food product/beverage, which promotes the Geelong region (tourism), as a centre for healthy clean food production.
