Purpose:
The Exmouth Chamber of Commerce has recently taken up residence in the old Shire offices which are now home to the Exmouth Business Hub. Although we have been successful in securing funding to fit out the building the ongoing running cost is of great concern as a not
for–profit organization.
The cost of Power is one of the largest outgoing costs the ECCI experiences in the running of the business hub. The estimated cost per year for power is $12,270.00.
The ECCI has received a comprehensive proposal from Northwest Solar Power that has recommended a system that will produce 142.6 kWh per day with an estimated savings of 80.9% of our total power bill in the first year. Reducing our expected power bill to
$2,344.00 per year a total savings of $9,926.00
By alleviating the pressure of covering this ongoing cost it will allow the ECCI to redirect further funds into community initiatives providing assistance to our local community with business capacity–building projects, support and advocacy to its membership.
