Purpose:
This project allows young regional Queenslanders the opportunity to compete on a national stage. The competition will encourage depth and growth in coding capability and allow students to learn from 'the best' - other students! If successful, this grant will allow 18 students the opportunity to compete in the RoboRave competition. As a low socio-economic area, this is something that would be otherwise cost-prohibitive for most students and families. In addition, it will allow teachers to further develop their skills, leading to a flow on effect for students in 2023 and beyond.
