Purpose:
Perth Science Festival is a family–friendly general public event, and currently the largest celebration in Western Australia on the National Science Week calendar. Our ambition for Perth Science Festival 2019 is to make science accessible for the general public and to promote an awareness of science in everyday life. We also aim to build a better connected science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) community in Western Australia by bringing together more than 50 organisations to share their expertise in an interactive and engaging way. In doing so, we highlight Western Australia as a hub for STEM, showcasing a diverse range of local activities.
