Moons to Oceans: Timing the Tides Marine Science Expo
Purpose:
How is the moon connected to the ocean? Through tides! Discover how tides work and how they influence the plants and animals that call the ocean home by visiting the Queenscliff Marine Station Expo during National Science Week. Learn from marine science experts from Deakin University and the Victorian Fisheries Authority by participating in hands–on activities, mini marine workshops and explore the aquarium exhibits at the Marine and Freshwater Discovery Centre. Situated on the shores of Swan Bay, the Queenscliff Marine Station is the perfect place to learn more about the local marine environment and engage and inspire community–wide participants in marine science.
