Purpose:
We, at the Spanish Lace Motor Inn, would like to be more energy efficient. We are a 25–room motel.
We have undertaken some upgrades, in some rooms, for instance, replaced fluorescent lights with more energy–efficient LEDs. Replaced the fluorescent lights in our signage with LEDs. Blinds are installed on windows to help with the sunlight.
We would like to be able to tint the windows on the western side of the motel to lower the heat that comes in. Replace the old fluorescent lights with LEDs. Replace the box air conditioners with energy efficient split systems.
We believe these changes will dramatically lower our energy costs and have our motel running more efficiently.
