Grant Activity:
Driving rational improvement of vaccines against respiratory viruses
Purpose:
Respiratory viruses, such as influenza and human coronaviruses, impose a significant burden on human health and present major pandemic risks. There is a critical need for highly effective vaccines to protect susceptible human populations. This research program will expand our understanding of fundamental drivers of protective immunity against respiratory viruses and integrate these insights in the design and testing of novel vaccine concepts that produce durable and efficacious immunity.
