Grant Activity:
Implementation of a peer worker-led mental health recovery program
Purpose:
"Australia faces a shortage of mental health services and mental health workers. In particular, there is a lack of clearly embedded roles for people who have a lived experience of mental health issues, peer workers. Peer workers have a unique role, connecting with people experiencing mental health issues to promote recovery. This project will evaluate a trial of a peer worker-led group recovery program in Australia."
