Promoting organic food certification & trade between Australia and...
On 14 November 2020, as part of a broader package of economic, development and security measures to support Southeast Asia’s recovery from COVID-19, Prime Minister Morrison announced a four-year $232 Mekong-Australia Partnership (MAP) to support economic integration and development in the Mekong Sub-region. This grants round contributes the MAP’s objectives to boost economic integration, investment and development in Vietnam in support of progressing an Australia-Vietnam Enhanced Economic Engagement Strategy.
The project aims to scale up the technology of organic food production, certification, and trade between Vietnam and Australia. This project is building on the current and previous projects funded by the Australian Embassy in Vietnam and the virtual Australia-Vietnam organic agriculture partnership project.
