Replace freezers
Purpose:
The project is to replace 4 smaller freezers with one 3–door commercial freezer. The replacement freezer has more volume and capacity for storage than the 4 freezers that it will replace. We have researched suitable products to find an appliance which is most suited to Australian conditions, in particular the extreme heat conditions we experience during summer. It has high energy efficiency, low noise compressor, door and ambient alarm, precise temperature control and promises easy maintenance.
If our grant application is successful, we will order the unit for delivery as soon as possible. Stock availability of the freezer will determine the project end time. We have estimated project length of up to 3 months. We wish to complete the project and update our equipment as soon as we are able. We expect that the project length time would be able to be reduced to 1 month providing stock of the appliance is readily available. The freezer will not require any additional electrical or plumbing to be completed. As soon as it is delivered it will be put into service.
