Purpose:
Construction of a custom designed building for Waroona Mens Shed will provide a permanent facility to house equipment and offer the participants a modern facility in which to support and engage. Waroona Mens Shed provides a location for men 18years + to interact in an inclusive community based group to share skills and encourage positive experiences for men regardless of culture, language,or disability. Mens Shed benefit Waroona by undertaking projects to contribute to the growth and sustainability of community such as construction of the Waroona Lions train, and contributing to the economy of Waroona by accessing local resources and suppliers. It supports positive mental health benefits, mentoring and social inclusion across the community
