Purpose:
Pinjarra Senior High School is a low-socioeconomic status school situated 80km south of Perth. Our priority is to provide students with the skills to become lifelong learners, enabling them to be adaptable to the ever-changing jobs market. The outcome for the students involved in this national competition is they will gain valuable experience, network opportunities and life skills. Students will learn the valuable STEM skills of collaboration, problem solving and critical thinking from each other and the teachers facilitating the program by running the Pinjarra Racing Team themselves. These skills will open up opportunities for students in school, and it will increase their life prospects and employment opportunities in the future.
