Make the Shamrock Hotel Outdoor area usable all year round
Purpose:
At present the Shamrock Hotel Beer Garden consists of a steel framed, colorbond iron clad structure. When the temperature exceeds 35 degrees Celsius (which often happens in summer) the beer garden is unusable, and patrons have to congregate in the inside air conditioned areas of the hotel, this makes compliance with the now commonplace COVID–19 related public health orders difficult. Similarly in the winter months, cold winter winds render the outdoor areas unusable for the opposite reasons. The project involves insulating, lining and partially enclosing the beer garden to make it usable during the temperature extremes that we experience in South West NSW.
