Purpose:
Asialink Business was established through a funding agreement between the Department and the University of Melbourne to equip Australian businesses and organisations, including those in the public sector, with the skills and capabilities to succeed in the Asian Century. On 12 April 2013, Cabinet agreed to fund the establishment of Asialink Business. The Government has committed to spending $37.4 million (GST exclusive) over a twelve year period from 2012–13 to 2023–24. A new funding agreement commenced on 23 December 2020. The total amount of funding provided under the current funding agreement is $8.946m (GST exclusive).
