Purpose:
The Gurraj Region Science week will spark broad interest in science by hosting all of the schools in our region for the event.
There will be workshops for all ages provided by the team at Deadly Science, Learning provided by Gurindji people in a culturally relevant way, as well as a presentation by the team at Street Science. This week of science aims to provide a high quality and high impact week for remote Indigenous people.
All of the people in this region are from linguistically diverse backgrounds and speak multiple languages such as Kriol, Gurindji, Warlpiri and more.
