Purpose:
CyRise will use grant funds to create a 5–day Cyber Bootcamp program for aspiring cybersecurity founders to be delivered in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra between June and September 2019. – develop skillsets needed to build and grow a global startup – create connections to potential co–founders & the wider cyber startup community – build solid foundations for international growth These Bootcamps will improve the quality and quantity of future cybersecurity founders in these markets, and ensure that the resulting startups are operating from a disciplined place of knowledge and improve their likelihood of future global success. If this pilot program is successful, we would seek further funding to expand the Cyber Bootcamps nationally.
