Purpose:
Advanced Navigation will collaborate with research partners ANU and RMIT and commercial partner Corridor Insights to develop the world's leading high performance gyroscope. Accurate positioning is a critical function in industries such as Space, Transport and Infrastructure, current solutions have poor price/performance, the novel approach using low cost fibre and integrated optical waveguides will deliver a solution that is a 85% cost reduction over current systems and will enable new customer applications that have previously not been possible.
