Purpose:
i Design, i Make, i Discover! will be a school makerspace, which enables students to gain practical knowledge and skills in design, technology, and innovation through various explorative tinkering assignments. It will introduce students to new and innovative digital technologies including 3D technologies such as 3D design software and 3D printers maximising the potential for students to develop and apply STEM–based skills. Hands–on experience working with emerging and advancing technologies Authentic opportunities for students to design solutions to real–world problems Foster critical and creative thinking skills through design processes Provide a vehicle for engaging in problem–based inquiry learning Development.
