Purpose:
The project aims to undertake the research required to develop and evaluate a ‘whole-of-setting’ model of care for trans and gender diverse people in prison. The model will assist with implementing prison health and custodial policy reforms aimed at bringing more incarcerated trans people into integrated, culturally responsive care, thereby improving their health, wellbeing, and physical safety.
