Grant Activity:
Exploring healthy ageing amongst Aboriginal Australians through the window of cancer
Purpose:
This project will expand what is known about Aboriginal people’s understanding of healthy ageing and apply this knowledge through the ‘window’ of cancer to explore how Aboriginal people understand cancer as part of ageing and how programs and services (prevention, diagnosis, treatment and support) might be improved. We will work in partnership with Aboriginal communities in New South Wales to identify and pilot test evidence driven strategies to improve cancer care.
