Preparing Fiji for Pathogens with Critical Antimicrobial Resistance
Purpose:
This project will assess the capacity for hospitals in Fiji to manage outbreaks of pathogens with critical antimicrobial resistance. Baseline assessments will be made, then a program will be developed and implemented to ensure that hospitals are ready for these extreme challenges. The program will include use of cutting edge technology such as microbial genomics linked to epidemiology to help understand and contain any transmission of pathogens.
