Purpose:
The project will deliver an upgraded sale yard facility including storm water management including concrete upgrades, improved lighting and shade/shelter for users; compliant with a range of legislative, welfare, operational and environmental factors. The upgrades improve the overall amenity of the site and are considerate of the RSPCA's Animal Welfare Standards and Guidelines for the Land transport of Livestock. The proposed upgrades will extend the working hours of the site and allow for greater flexibility in a safe and comfortable environment for all users and livestock.
