Grant Activity:
Measuring unmet menstrual health needs and their impacts on health and education
Purpose:
Each day, over 300 million females are menstruating. Their menstrual health matters for gender equality, health, and education. My work will transform the way we measure women’s and girls’ menstrual health needs in low- and middle-income countries and advance evidence-based action in Southeast Asia and the Pacific. I will grow our understanding of how adolescent girls’ needs change over time and quantify the impacts of menstrual health on broader health and education outcomes.
