Purpose:
The AFP, along with other public and private sector partners, provide an established level of funding for the CSCRC to:
- Identify, fund and support research projects that build Australia’s cyber security capacity;
- Address cyber security issues, both technology and policy related;
- Provide evidence-based public commentary on relevant cyber-security issues;
- Promote and strengthen collaborations between industry, government and researchers; and
- Engage directly with the AFP to undertake and develop specified research activities for the benefit of the AFP and Australia’s national security.
