Purpose:
Improving the efficiency of the biggest energy user (air con) and proactively managing other hotel energy use will result in significant energy consumption reductions.
The installation of smart, split–system air conditioning units will improve efficiency and reduce the cost of room heating and cooling by a minimum of 30%.
Further sustained gains of up to 25% saving on energy consumption will be made through the installation of a site–wide energy management system. This system will provide the basis for a detailed audit which will identify other equipment and services that can be managed more efficiently or replaced for the same benefit.
