The Sydney Child Health Program (SCHP) is provided by The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN), Australia's largest paediatric health care entity. SCHP plans to create an educational network between Australian and Korean health care professionals that incorporates access for doctors, hospitals and (potentially) the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare that will enable Korean healthcare professionals to access SCHP's course content and approach to treating paediatric health and medical conditions. SCHP will offer up to 40 placements for Korean nationals to participate in the program, managed remotely from Westmead, New South Wales, Australia (in accordance with COVID-19 public health orders). SCHP's Webinar/Roadshow Series will commence 1 July 2021 and end 30 June 2022. In the event COVID-19 travel restrictions are still in place, SCHP will postpone face-to-face roadshow components until travel to Korea is permitted by the Australian Government. Business development activities will establish direct contacts with Ministry of Health and Welfare, hospitals, Korean associations and local health care providers with assistance from Austrade and the Australia-Korea Business Council. These activities will be conducted by telephone, video conferencing) and in person (planned for June 2022 and pending international travel advice). SCHP will present awareness webinars (remotely) and seminars (in person).
