Swinburne Hawthorn Drone Fair and National Tournament of Drones
Purpose:
This project sees students participate in a local Drone Fair STEM experience using microdrones, building student confidence and capability, to allow them to take part in the national Tournament of Drones competition run by She Maps in Term 4, 2022. Students will gain a great understanding of emerging technology and its use in industry. They will build their skills and capability in STEM and digital literacy, through the Drone Fair and their participation in the virtual Tournament of Drones. The knowledge and skills gained will provide a foundation for students and staff for future years through continued curricular and extra-curricular programs.
