Purpose:
Granulosa cell tumours (GCT) of the ovary are a unique subset of ovarian cancers which do not respond to conventional therapy. These studies will: i) characterise the patient experience; ii) identify mutations that lead to advanced disease which has a mortality of 80 percent; iii) characterise genes associated with advanced disease; iv) develop better diagnostics; and v) provide targeted approaches to treatment i.e. personalised medicine for women with GCT.
