15kW PV 64 solar system for the clubhouse at Western Districts Netball
Purpose:
Western Districts Netball Association, representing 13 clubs and approximately 2500 members will purchase and install a 64 x 270w panel 15Kw PV solar system to generate clean energy and become mostly energy self-sufficient in operating our administration centre and sporting club facilities and canteen. This system will reduce our carbon output resulting in cleaner energy, important to all our environmentally conscious community members, by generating approx. 29,500 kWh of electricity per year, a saving of around 27 tonnes of CO2 per annum in emissions, and will provide the Association with funds from the significant reduction in bills that can then be directed to the improvement of our facilities and increased funding to our scholarship programs.
