16.5kW Solar Panel system for Minimbah Challenge
Purpose:
Minimbah Challenge supports children and adults with complex intellectual disabilities. Minimbah Challenge will purchase a 16.5kW solar PV system to enable us to be more environmentally conscious as well as provide a significant reduction on current electricity consumption. The clean electricity solution is estimated to reduce our power bills by approximately $1,200/qtr also saving an estimated 32.15 tonnes of C)2 emissions. The system also enable Minimbah to add a further 16kW of future panels as finance becomes available to increase our efforts to become more environmentally sustainable. The savings will be set aside for special needs disability equipment which are not funded under any current government arrangements.
