10kW PV system for the Melbourne Bowling Club
Purpose:
The Melbourne Bowling Club will purchase and have installed a 10kW solar PV system which will generate clean electricity and help reduce the bowling club's power bills. With a commercial grade kitchen and Flood lights for our greens consuming power we see moving to solar power generation as key to reducing our carbon footprint and contain electricity costs that appear to be ever increasing. The Club is looking at moving to approximately a 25kW system along with battery storage to cover our needs in the medium and long term. Stage 2 which we intend to fund ourselves would increase the collection capacity and install battery storage.
