An 8.68kW solar package for the Gerringong SLSC
Purpose:
The Gerringong Surf Life Saving Club will purchase and install an 8.68kW solar package to assist in the provision of renewable energy to power the club's facilities. The package would include 28 310W solar modules to be placed on the club's roof along with an inverter and smart meter phase. This package will supply the club with up to 12,000kWh of electricity annually and in doing so generate additional clean renewable energy and reduce the organisation's power bills. This monetary saving will allow additional funding to be placed towards vital rescue and training equipment. The surf club takes pride in being a leader of sustainable practices within the community - this grant would be an extension of our community recycling scheme.
