24.8KW PV system for Epilepsy foundation
Purpose:
The Epilepsy Foundation will purchase and install a 24.8kw solar PV system which will generate clean electricity and significantly reduce the foundations power bills. It will alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid as the centre will be mostly self-sufficient for our energy needs. Installing a 24.8 kW system would provide around 81,613 kWh of electricity every year, this would save around 331,000 kg of CO2 annually and would be a proud achievement for our environmentally conscious foundation. The significant reduction in power bills will free up additional funds to go towards giving greater relief to many more people suffering from epilepsy. This work is for Unit 3 Level 1 being part of a whole of building solar panel work.
