Purpose:
The Hope Anglican Church will purchase and install a 15.4kW solar PV which will generate clean electricity and help reduce the community s power bills. It will alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid as the centre will be mostly self-sufficient for our energy needs and would be a proud achievement for our environmentally conscious community. The significant reduction in power bills will free up additional funds to go into serving the local community. We are one of the only community facilities in this new greenfield area and provide activities for babies and toddlers, primary aged children, teenagers, families, men and women throughout the week and on weekends.
