A 5.94kW PV system, solar panels and inverter for Wallum Preschool
Purpose:
Wallum Community Preschool will purchase and install a 5.94kW PV system, solar panels and inverter, which will generate clean electricity and help reduce the community's power bills. It will support our Preschool's philosophy and Early Educational program in sustainable practices. It will alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid as the Preschool will be mostly self-sufficient for our energy needs. Installing a 5.94kW system would provide around 4500 kWh of electricity every year, this would save around two tonnes of CO2 annually and would be a proud achievement for our Preschool. With the additional funds saved from a reduced power bill, we can purchase new learning resources for the children and families at our Preschool.
