6kW PV Q-Cell solar system for 1st Brunswick Heads Scout Group Hall
Purpose:
1st Brunswick heads Scout Group will purchase and install a 6kW Q-cell solar system which will generate clean electricity and help reduce the power bills. It will alleviate the demand on the national energy grid as the building will be mostly self-sufficient for our energy needs. Installing a 6kW system would provide around 8,800 kWh of electricity every year, this would save around 2.7 tonnes of CO2 annually and would be a proud achievement for our environmentally conscious community. The significant reduction in power bills will free up additional funds to go towards activities for our youth members to gain essential life skills, leadership and citizenship skills and self-esteem which will influence their adult lives.
