A battery storage system for Tennis Terranora Inc. JNTC Club House
Purpose:
Tennis Terranora Inc. will purchase and install a battery storage system which will store the solar electricity generated by the existing solar photovoltaic generator system to help power the club at night. This will help reduce the clubs power bills and alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid as the club will be mostly self-sufficient for our energy needs. It will reduce the clubs grid usage by 5,110 kWh of electricity every year, saving around 3.8 tonnes of CO2 annually, and would be a proud achievement for our environmentally conscious community. The significant reduction in power bills will free up additional funds to go towards junior tennis programs which will keep kids off the streets.
