A 8.25 kW PV system for MDSI Aged Care Service "the Manse"
Purpose:
MDSI will purchase and install the 8.25kW solar PV system which will generate clean energy and help reduce the power bills at "the Manse". As an Aged Day Care facility, it is important that the temperature is regulated to reduce heat stress on the elderly participants. Having the ability to utilise the energy during peak time will help alleviate the demand on the energy grid and contribute towards energy self sufficiency for the Manse. This PV system would produce approximately 12264kW annually which will significantly improve the building and its services environmental footprint and reduce the cost of energy thereby freeing up funds to improve programs and activities for the elderly,
